Education – Literacy
Every child should be able to read and write at grade level starting by third grade. Putting more money directly into classrooms means better pay and support for teachers, who are the foundation of student success. Strong literacy not only boosts graduation rates but also cuts down on crime, making our communities safer. Parents deserve a voice in their children’s education, and schools should be transparent and accountable to the families they serve.
2nd Amendment Rights
Public Safety
Every Coloradan deserves to feel safe in their home, neighborhood, and community. I will always support fully funding law enforcement, holding criminals accountable, and rejecting the failed policies of defunding and decriminalization that have made our streets less safe. Public safety isn’t a partisan issue – it’s a basic responsibility of government, and one I will never compromise on.
Parental Rights
As a mom, I know firsthand that parents – not government bureaucrats – should make decisions about their children’s education, health, and values. I will always fight for transparency in our schools, meaningful parental involvement, and the right of every family to raise their children according to their own convictions.
Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR)
Colorado’s Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights is one of the most important checks on government overreach in the country. I will never waver in my defense of TABOR – because your money belongs to you, not to politicians in Denver.
Limited Government
Government works best when it stays focused on core responsibilities, spends wisely, and stays out of people’s lives. I’ll fight to cut red tape, eliminate wasteful spending, and return power to the communities and individuals who know better than any bureaucracy how to solve their own problems.
Affordability
Colorado is becoming unaffordable for the families and workers who make this state great. I’ll fight to lower taxes, cut regulatory red tape, and remove the barriers that make it harder to live, work, and raise a family here – because Colorado should be a place people can afford to stay.
